Edmonton - The end of our Journey
We left Tumbler Ridge this morning, not very early, come on, we are on vacation. Barb took the first leg of our 8 hour journey and we stopped at Dawson Creek. (Note: the TV show with the same name was not filmed here).
First stop was at a very nice laundromat, we have been on the road for 16 days and yes we needed to get many of our clothes cleaned.
After the laundry was done, we crossed the street to a 60's diner for lunch.
Then it was time to hit the road again and heading for Edmonton, our last stop on this adventure. We have a week here at the 5 Pin Masters Championships, not really part of our vacation.
So we thought to close off this blog we would summarize our adventures. We left home 16 days ago, we have taken 6 different flights with one more coming to get us back home from Edmonton next week.

This was another trip that we will never forget! It was a wild idea, a bit of a dream or bucket list item and we are both glad we made this trip! The only place we haven't visited in Canada now is Nunavut ... one day!
Oh and don't worry about us for the next week. we have an amazing suite to stay in for the next 7 days. I actually think it is larger than my son's condo in Toronto.
Those of you who have followed along with us on this journey, thank you. We hope it was a bit educational and entertaining.
Thanks for sharing your adventure. Have fun at the Masters 5 Pin Tournament. See you in a bit…Bruce

ReplyDeleteCongrats, guys! But, I'm glad you're safe and sound back in civilization, even if that version is in Alberta(smiley face) I enjoyed your summary and your photos - good stuff!! BTW talk to some Albertan about politics - I'd be very interested in what you learn. Look forward to actually seeing you(smiley face with hearts of love) (I've learned there's restrictions on what characters I can use.) Love, always, Carol
